Environment Commitment
Infopress Group has implemented an Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment and starting with last year also for the Information Security Management System . We currently hold three such certificates: one for our Environmental Management System according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard , one for the Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and one for the Information Security Management System according to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard. In addition, in 2011 we received the "Process Standard Offset" certificate based on ISO 12647-2 standard, issued by FOGRA and BVDM(German Printing and Media Industries Federation).
In August 2010, Infopress Group becomes the first Romanian printing house to be FSC COC® certified (Forest Stewardship Council® - Chain of Custody). In March 2012 we have joined the PEFC™ – Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification™ – for our Chain of Custody System. The FSC and PEFC Certifications state that the products labeled with its identification code are produced using only verified sourced wood based materials, this being a reliable warranty for our partners and final costumers.
In December 2015 Infopress Group was awarded the EU ECOLABEL License for printed paper, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests.
By using this trademark, the EU ECOLABEL logo is allowed to be shown on products printed by INFOPRESS GROUP . The EU ECOLABEL helps people to identify products and services that have low environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials through the production, packaging and transport, use and disposal. This logo symbolizes a sustainable production cycle, with less waste, less pollution and products that are better for the planet. The EU ECOLABEL makes green choices easy both for our business customers and the end user alike.

The environment is a priority for Infopress Group. As a consequence we focus on:
Resources controlling - we aim to continuously reduce energy losses by investing in new technologies and training of our workforce.
Recycling - we have developed partnerships with specialized companies which are selectively collecting and recycling the production waste. Last year we recycled 6000 tons of scrap paper and cardboards and 10 tons of plastics.
Pollution prevention- we strive to reduce gas emissions and prevent pollution by investing in modern technology and upgrading our equipment to reduce the immediate environmental impact of our production.
